It's all about helping out...

I had recently created a web application that would open up the ability for people to easily communicate with anyone else of any other language. I thought it might be a good idea to put advertising on the app, and that the money could then be passed on to UNICEF.
Someone then told me about freerice.com a site created by a programmer named John Breen....and so it began.
I then came across Fred Wilson's blog talking about "Am I Bored with Web 2.0" which due to Fred's large audience created alot of conversation.
Fred stated that he was inspired by a Blog post by Umair Haque called An Open Challenge to Silicon Valley.

Thank you gentlemen for giving me the inspiration to step outside of the GREED motivation of Web 2.0 and to look at making the world a better place for all.
So, I am challenging ALL of YOU to look outside your cubicle to think about really giving back, to make our world a better place.
And hopefully some VC with Karma will help push some good ideas forward.
